Before I go anywhere with this I first want to say a huge happy "Thank you" to
Next, A MASSIVELY HUGE CONGRADULATIONS to another dear friend,
To all my old and new friends, I want to thank all of you for checking up on me and continueing to view my work (as little of it as there is these days). You guys are all truly incredible and it makes my time away seem like the worst thing in the world.
As to what all has been going on...let me begin...
First, some of you may remember my bid to have my lovely little collie girl, Tea, bred. The first time was a $1,000 failure. The second time cost about the same but low and behold it took and Tea was preggers. She had the pups on August 1st.
There were only 2 but the first was stillborn, so, technically we had only 1. Our little live one is a male. His name is Cowan which is Gaelic for "co-birth"...meaning twin since there we saw two on the x-ray before they were born.
His a light sable and white like his mother, but is a smooth coat like his father. He is feisty, full spunk and spirit and such a little card. And this of course translates into presence in the breed ring (so judges notice him and the other breeders watching take note) and it also means that once we finally get done all the beginning stages of obedience training (along with whatever else I decide to try with him) he'll have tons of personality left. I'll be adding pictures of him to my gallery in the coming days as time allows.
No, that's not all that has been going on that has kept me away. Family things left and right, particularly with my daughter (which I really don't have time to get into because it is such a huge time consuming thing to explain in spoken word), have commandeered what little extra time I have after work and most days I can't get online long enough to even read all of my e-mails. Explains why I can find over 120 e-mails in the ole' inbox just about every day. Lol.
Work continues to be a hassle and since the family issues have been consuming my time it's been even more so. My boss isn't thrilled, though she sort of understands I do have priorities, but she has pulled me from my level 2 training, that was scheduled to start next Friday, has announced that she will not be making me full-time for a while (no loss there really) and she is putting a rush on getting another part-timer in the office. Almost sounds like I'm going to be replaced soon, doesn't it? Oh well. More time at home on-line. You can see I'm really upset, right? Lol.
Anyway, hubby is doing much, MUCH better and has finally consented to go to the doctors and get some much needed assistance with his depression issues. He even asked me to go with him! Will wonders never cease? That's scheduled for Monday. I can't wait!
And that's just the short version of things! Lol.
If any of you happen to comment, please be patient for a reply as even this was typed up in a hurry and I still don't have uber amounts of time available.
Later!
